Nyc public school closings 2010 Updates – In New York City, United states department of education said in a statement in the early hours of Friday morning, February 26th 2010 that all public schools in Manhattan and Staten Island, Queens and the Bronx and Brooklyn will be closed due to bad weather. More than 391 school will be closed today that includes: Academy of Mt. St. Ursula, Academy of St. Elizabeth, Adelphi University, All Hallows High School and Allamuchy Elementary School.

“Due to snow weather conditions, all New York City public schools will be closed today, February 26, 2010. All after-school activities and PSAL events will also be canceled. Administrative offices will remain open,” an alert on the NYC education department web site said.
