Bud Shootout 2010 Results: Harvick, Chevrolet Win
In the start of the 2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup season, Kevin Harvick won his second-straight Budweiser Shootout Saturday night from Daytona International Speedway.
Kevin Harvick and his No. 29 Shell/Pennzoil Chevrolet won the Budweiser Shootout at Daytona, his second consecutive victory in the preseason event. Harvick – who won $202,357 in prize money – is the fourth NASCAR Sprint Cup driver to win consecutive Budweiser Shootouts. Neil Bonnett (1983-84), Ken Schrader (1989-90) and Tony Stewart (2001-02) are the others. It is Harvick’s fifth top-10 finish in the event.

Grabbing second was Kasey Kahne and his No. 9 9 Budweiser Ford. Kahne had his best finish in the Budweiser Shootout. His previous best finish was sixth in 2009. It is his fourth top-10 finish.
Jamie McMurray picked up third in his and his No. 1 Bass Pro Shops/Tracker Chevrolet and now has two consecutive top-five finishes in the Budweiser Shootout. He finished second last year. It is his third top-10 finish.
Kyle Busch and his No.18 M&M’s Toyota picked up fourth, while the and his No. 11 FedEx Express Toyota driven by Denny Hamlin rounded out the top five.
Jeff Burton practiced that for Harvick, who was able to get to Daytona in time for Friday’s 500 practice. That got rained out after just two laps.
